Description

Triisopropylsilyl trifluoromethanesulfonate is used as a reagent for the introduction of triisopropylsilyl(TIPS) group in organic synthesis. It is involved in the synthesis of 2-substituted benzothiopyran-4-ones and silyloxy acetylenes. As a protecting group in organic synthesis, it is utilized especially for the protection of primary amines. Furthermore, it plays an important role in Takahashi Taxol total synthesis or for chemical glycosylation reactions.

Applications
Le triisopropylsilyl trifluorométhanesulfonate est utilisé comme réactif pour l’introduction du groupe triisopropylsilyl(TIPS) dans la synthèse organique. Elle participe à la synthèse de benzothiopyran-4-ones 2-substituées et de silyloxyacétylènes. En tant que groupe de protection dans la synthèse organique, il est utilisé en particulier pour la protection des amines primaires. De plus, il joue un rôle important dans la synthèse totale de Tapahashi Taxol ou dans les réactions de glycosylation chimique.

Solubilité
Miscible avec le chloroforme et l’acétate d’éthyle.

Remarques
Sensible à l’humidité. Gardez le récipient hermétiquement fermé dans un endroit sec et bien ventilé. Incompatible avec les bases fortes et les agents oxydants forts. Il s’hydrolyse dans l’eau.
