Description
Catechol Violet is used as a complexometric indicator dye. It inhibits the synthesis of globin in reticulocyte lysates. It is also used as a pH indicator with a transition interval from 0 to 8.

ApplicationsLe violet de catéchol est utilisé comme colorant indicateur de complexométrique. Il inhibe la synthèse de la globuline dans les lysats réticulocytaires. Il est également utilisé comme indicateur de pH avec un intervalle de transition de 0 à 8.
Solubilité
Soluble dans l’eau, l’éthylèneglycol, l’éther monométhylique et l’éthanol.
