Indium(III) nitrate hydrate acts as an oxidizing agent. It is used in the manufacture of coordinated polymer films which are used in the preparation of indium(III) oxide nanoparticles. It is used in the synthesis of other indium complexes.

Applications
L’hydrate de nitrate d’indium(III) fait office d’agent oxydant. Il est utilisé dans la fabrication de films polymères coordonnés qui servent à la préparation de nanoparticules d’oxyde d’indium(III). Il est utilisé dans la synthèse d’autres complexes d’indium.
