Hydroxylamine-O-sulfonic acid is used in the synthesis of quinolones for the benzodiazepine site of GABAA receptors. It is also used as a polymerization catalyst and an amination reagent. It is involved in the preparation of diazene by reacting with an alkali. It is also used in the inhibition of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDD) as well as (polychlorinated biphenyl) PCB formation in co-combustion.

Applications
L‘acide hydroxylamine-O-sulfonique est utilisé dans la synthèse des quinolones pour le site benzodiazépine des récepteurs GABAA. Il est également utilisé comme catalyseur de polymérisation et réactif d‘amination. Il participe à la préparation du diazène en réagissant avec un alcali. Il est également utilisé dans l‘inhibition de la formation de PCB de dibenzo-p-dioxines polychlorées (PCDD) ainsi que de PCB (biphényle polychloré) dans la co-combustion.

Solubilité
Soluble dans l’eau et le méthanol. Légèrement soluble dans l’éthanol. Insoluble dans l‘éther et le chloroforme.

Remarques
Sensible à l’humidité et hygroscopique. Stockez-le dans un endroit frais. Gardez le récipient hermétiquement fermé dans un endroit sec et bien ventilé. Incompatible avec les agents oxydants forts, les bases fortes, les chlorures acides, les anhydrides acides et les métaux corrodés.
