Ciprofloxacin, inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase (topoisomerase). Inhibits cell division and causes double-strand breaks in the bacterial chromosome.

ApplicationsLa ciprofloxacine inhibe l’ADN gyrase bactérien (topoisomérase). Inhibe la division cellulaire et provoque des ruptures à double brin dans le chromosome bactérien.
Solubilité
Soluble dans 0,1 N NaOH à 25 mg/ml. Peu soluble dans le DMSO
