Description
L-3,3',5-Triiodothyronine, Sodium Salt is shown to stimulate respiratory activity at the mitochondrial level. T3 is a thyroid hormone that increases rates of proteins synthesis, stimulates the breakdown of cholesterol, and effects embryonic development. In cell culture, T3 regulates cell differentiation and protein expression.

Il est démontré que la L-3,3′,5-triiodothyronine, sel de sodium, stimule l’activité respiratoire au niveau mitochondrial. En culture cellulaire, T3 régule la différenciation cellulaire et l’expression protéique.
Solubilité
Partiellement miscible avec l’eau. Soluble dans le diméthylsulfoxyde, le méthanol, l’hydroxyde de sodium et l’éthanol. Pratiquement insoluble dans la plupart des autres solvants organiques.
Remarques
Stocker à -20°C. Incompatible avec les agents oxydants et la chaleur. Sensible à la lumière.
