Description
1-Indanone is an oxidation product of indan, a component of fuels, solvents and varnishes. 1-Indanone is also a metabolite of Thalidomide that has been shown to inhibit the attachment of tumor cells to concanavalin A coated plastic surfaces.

ApplicationsLe composé 1-indanone est un produit d’oxydation de l’hydrindène, un composant des combustibles, des solvants et des vernis. Le composé 1-indanone est également un métabolite du thalidomide qui a fait ses preuves en tant qu’inhibiteur de l’attachement des cellules tumorales aux surfaces en plastique enduites de concanavaline A.
